First video using my gymnastic rings ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I got them about one month ago and they have been a game-changer for me. The stability bit of them changes a lot the same exercises you would do in a monkey bar or in dips making them more difficult; also the grip is quite a new feeling. In this videos I go Y, I and T really working the chest, core, lats, and triceps.

It seems to be working so Iโ€™m doing what Iโ€™m told because itโ€™s possible he knows what heโ€™s talking about! ๐Ÿ˜œ Although, Rich, I may need you to show me how to do this properly in our next session. Got myself all confused again. The usual overthinking! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ . As much as I love trying something new, I confuse myself. After Googling it, YouTubeing it and playing around with the different handles (two donโ€™t match and it totally changed how each arm moved), I came to something which I think canโ€™t be far off what Iโ€™m supposed to do. Finished today's upper push workout with TRX chest flyes. Done correctly these really hammer the pecs provided that you can get low enough at the bottom to emphasize the stretch position AND you squeeze the pecs as hard as you can at the top. Additional cues include keeping as straight a line as you can between the shoulders and the ankles and squeeze the glutes through the entire ROM. Not shown in the video, I took a 10 sec break then went into TRX push ups to failure, making this a mechanical advantage drop set.   #chestflyes     #TRX     #pushday

Chest: Standing cable flye 4 sets x 10 reps (17.5kg) Another favourite exercise of mine, this time targeting the chest. Iโ€™ve seen some variation of peopleโ€™s preferred stance, some upright, some slightly lent forward. I personally like to take a stride forward, almost a lunge and as always keeping a straight back. This enables you to get full range of motion, gives plenty of support and ensures controlled movement throughout.
