Do you have apex habits planned for 2020? As we near the New Year, you and your partner are probably setting your goals and intentions for the year, maybe the first quarters.
We set apex habits half way through 2019 and really liked it, so we are working on deciding on ours for 2020 now.
I considered sleep, meditation, and planning out my time, and chose to prioritize sufficient, consistent sleep, while Okeoma’s apex habit was to take imperfect action regularly.
And what I learned is that when we REALLY prioritize well, it makes a huge impact on our ability to do, experience, and feel the things we want.
The way we figure out our apex habit is we go through our normal process of identifying one thing to help us improve for each section of the wheel of life like normal. Then, when we have laid out all our practices or habits, we go over them all, rank them, and then decide which ONE would most make the other ones easier to achieve just by virtue of making that one happen.
We are still mulling over how we will focus our time and intention in 2020, but apex habits will be a focus for sure!
