Even if you keep your digital SLR camera away from dirt when you’re not using it, you should know that if you use it, dirt can get into the cracks and crevices of the camera body. There may also be dirt stuck to the inside of the lens or even to the camera itself.
Be careful as black spots may appear on the photos you take and the camera may be dirty. So take some time and clean it so that it works optimally.
- Microfiber fabric.
- The first thing you should do is take a picture of a blank sheet or wall. This will help you determine if there are any black dots in the image. In this case, you need to clean the camera’s image sensor.
- Before you start cleaning, I recommend that you do this in a clean place free of dust and dirt.
- The first step in cleaning is to rub the outside of the chamber with a Microfiber fabricto remove dirt and dust.
- Then remove the lens and check manual of your camera to know if there is anything specific to consider for cleaning your SLR.
