By definition, inkwells are prepared to be constantly colored with ink. This doesn’t mean they don’t need to be cleaned regularly. For the sake of cleanliness and because when we clean the inkwell, we are cleaning up any sediments and debris that collects at the bottom of the inkwell.
What do we need?
- milk
- White soap
Steps to follow:
- Step 1: Soak the stained part in hot milk until it cools.
- Step 2: Change the milk (always hot) as often as necessary until the stain disappears.
- Step 3: wash with white soap.
